Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596574 Composed by Juan MarÃa Solare. 20th Century,Contemporary,Jazz,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. Juan Maria Solare #4794263. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596574). Reencuentro (Reunion): Slow Milonga (country-side milonga) written down after a visit to the cemetery at El Escorial (Spain) on 30 March 2008. This is the typical piece that is destilated in concentric stages: first a lead sheet version (only melody and chords), later a simple piano solo version that starts to become more and more complex. The easy piano version was written on 7 April 2008 and finished in Berlin on 9th April 2008. Premiere of this version for piano solo: by the composer on 3 July 2008 at the theatre of the University in Bremen, during a concert of the Orquesta No TÃpica. Premiere in the Americas by Iván Pérez Faccaro on 27 November 2008 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Buenos Aires Ãstor Piazzolla (Argentina). Incluided in the CD Tango Monologues (January 2010) by Juan MarÃa Solare. (https://open.spotify.com/track/71ksY7eCbpeKM1Kjj2x9KT) Second version, for piano four hands, written in Köln on April 17, 2008. There are first corrections made in Köln on November 7, 2008, which echo the versions made in between. Premiere by Helga Beier & Markus Deinhard on Thursday, May 27, 2010, recital Klavier 1- bis 6-händig in the theater of the University of Bremen.

All of them belong to the aesthetic of neo-classical music, in some cases with a salt of tango flavour (clear in Premonición). The fingerings in the scores are only suggestions - albeit meaningful ones. Be sure that they have been tested in practice. Those are the fingerings that I actually use. Listen to this album in Spotify and similar streaming platforms:https://open.spotify.com/album/3L4VfFsqSb4iax62Wl3FOd https://juanmariasolare.bandcamp.com/album/from-a-window All the pieces were performed by the composer, Juan MarÃa Solare, and recorded at the Studio Onix II, Cervelló / Barcelona, Spain, in January 2018. Recording Engineer: Bruno Sanfilippo (brunosanfilippo.bandcamp.com) Digital release: 8 March 2019, label Double J Music (Bristol, UK)Physical release: label Janus Music & Sound (Bremen, Germany) Artwork: Juan MarÃa Solare. Fractal image created with the JWildfire software designed by Andreas Maschke (jwildfire.org). Trivia: Actually, this particular fractal image was what inspired the title of the album. Stats: in the first month after its release (on 8 March 2019) the focus track, La tocaya, reached 90.000 streams on Spotify. ***

Bassoon,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534689 Composed by Thierry Pélicant. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score and part. 25 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #6230963. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534689). A four-movement concerto for bassoon and orchestra (PIC22(CA)22/2100/Timp/2perc/strings) by the noted French composer. Duration is about 16 minutes. This file is the piano reduction and solo part. The score is also available for sale. The parts are on rental from the publisher. Thierry Pélicant was born in 1957 at Sainte-Adresse, France. After studying the organ and the horn, his meeting with Jean-Claude Hartemann, the Musical Director of the Opéra Comique in Paris lead him to decide to explore conducting. He was the student of Haremann for fifteen years. He is the Musical Director of the André Messager Orchestre and has also directed the Orchestre Philharmonique de l’Oise since 1980, one of the oldest French orchestras, since it was founded in 1750. A passionate supporter of French music, Pélicant reconstructed the Messe solennelle of L.V.A Boïeldieu and Te Deum of 1792 by Philidor and premièred and recorded the Suite Parnassienne, Massenet’s last work. At the same time, he has also served the music of our time in premièring or recording the works of Dazzi, Marchand, Braconnier, Bénard, Drouin, Preschez, etc. As a composer, musical grammar and stylistic debates only interest him from afar. As a true gourmet (since cooking is another of his passions), he strives to write the music that pleases him, that would be enjoyable to play and which would be enjoyable to hear, hopefully with real pleasure and in which he tries to express the emotions and the pleasant or surprising states of being which, to hime, these works are tied. Through this process, he has created concertos (for oboe, for bassoon, for organ, for contrabass), Escales & paysages, ma monumental literary concerto for narrator, piano and orchestra, composed with his friend Dominique Preschez, Operas (Histoires comme ça, Ribouldingue, Élise et le fantôme) ; With the poet Luis Porquet, he wrote the song cycle Ombre légère (for soprano, harp and orchestre), Rhapsodie du Havre (for tenor and chamber orchestra, a commission from the Forum de Normandie to commemorate the 500 years of the founding of the city Le Havre), Et de toi, Bethleem, Christmas oratorio for baritone, chorus and orchestra and, finally, commissioned by the Orchestre de l’Oise in honor of the centennial of the First World War 14, fresque de la Grande Guerre, for the tenor Daniel Gà lvez-Vallejo, children’s chorus and orchestra. In the area of chamber music, he has written a sonata for horn and piano, for the Festival de Giverny, Borée, (quintet for oboe and strings), Sextuor d’été, , and Milonga, (septet inspired by the World of Tango Music). Published in 2005, his novel Carnets de Walter Crane, explores the sufferings of a composer who has the obligation to write a string quartet ...

Full Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534555 Composed by Thierry Pélicant. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 46 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #4283543. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534555). In 2004, the Orchestre Philharmonique de l’Oise commissioned its musical director, t Thierry Pélicant, this concerto for the late Claude Caens, the principal contrabass of this orchestra. This great artist, who was friends with everyone in this ensemble, wanted everyone to have a part in the festivities, not only the strings, but also the winds, the horns, the trumpets and the percussion, and also that they all should be heard ! Thierry Pélicant wrote therefore a concerto which is at once very symphonic – and for this reason, it is strongly advised that the contrabass be amplified – but also a piece which would express the friendship between the orchestra and the soloist. This concerto strives to be both warm and lyrical : it is not a virtuoso showpiece, inspite of the real technical that it offers to the soloist and which he would do well to try to hid them from the audience. It is also not a battle between the orchestra and this gentle giant : they stroll together, sometimes joyously, sometimes with nostalgia and go through the strong storms which do not fail to present themselves, smiling together and finding them to be envigorating. The work is scored for (2(Pic)2(EH)22/2200/Timp/2perc/strings) and lasts aproximately 23 minutes. The orchestral parts are on rental from the pubilsher. The full score is available for sale on this site.Thierry Pélicant was born in 1957 at Sainte-Adresse, France. Published in 2005, his novel Carnets de Walter Crane, explores the sufferings of a composer who has the obligation to write a string quartet ..

The title translates as the little parade, and the first version was a tune with no lyrics. Later, Matos RodrÃguez produced a version with lyrics that begin: The parade of endless miseries marches around that sick being who will soon die of grief. However, the most popular version of the song is accompanied by lyrics by Pascual Contursi and is also known as Si supieras.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1256758 By Gabriel Lagos. By Gabriel Lagos. Arranged by Gabriel Lagos. 19th Century,21st Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score. 12 pages. Lagos Music #850130. Published by Lagos Music (A0.1256758). It's kind of cool that I've finished an entire four-movement sonata! It's also kind of cool how people can watch my progress as I improve as a composer over time. I hope you enjoy this one. I think this is my best work so far, but I'm curious what others think! Inspiration for this piece came from the Rondo in Mozart's Concerto in E Flat for two pianos and his Finale in Symphony 40 (which I think is a Rondo as well), and all the Bach harpsichord concertos. Why is the cadenza in the style of a Bolero, I hear you ask? Well, it's hinting at a future work. With this Sonata, I set the intention of four movements: sonata-allegro, minuet/trio, funeral march, rondo. For the next work, the intention is a Latin Suite which will consist of a romance, tango, and milonga. That may change, but that's my idea so far and I didn't want to forget that theme...so I put it in the cadenza of this sonata! I will record a more live version of the full sonata on one of the University Of Victoria's Steinways soon. My dream is to write for orchestra, but for now I'll be using piano works as practice and maybe, just maybe, one day I'll find a way to compose for orchestra. I used to want to write for film but I'm now realizing I may want to write for the classical world, instead. This would be an absolute dream come true. Thank you, Gabe.
