Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1213917 By Roy Clark. By Charles Aznavour and Herbert Kretzmer. Arranged by Timothy Stapay. Film/TV,Jazz,Multicultural,Singer/Songwriter,Standards,World. Score. 8 pages. Timothy Stapay #811114. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1213917). Yesterday When I was Young is a song composed by Georges Garvarentz and written by Charles Aznavour and released in September 1964. The original French title translates to Just yesterday or Not so long ago.It is considered one of Aznavour's greatest hits. The English-language lyrics, written by Herbert Kretzmer, tell of someone reflecting on his life, recalling how he had wasted his younger years.Lyrics:[Verse 1]Yesterday when I was youngThe taste of life was sweet as rain upon my tongueI teased at life as if it were a foolish gameThe way the evening breeze may tease a candle flameThe thousand dreams I dreamed, the splendid things I plannedI always built, alas, on weak and shifting sandI lived by night and shunned the naked light of dayAnd only now I see how the years ran away[Verse 2]Yesterday, when I was youngSo many drinking songs were waiting to be sungSo many wayward pleasures lay in store for meAnd so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to seeI ran so fast that time and youth at last ran outI never stopped to think what life was all aboutAnd every conversation I can now recallConcerned itself with me, me and nothing else at all[Verse 3]Yesterday the moon was blueAnd every crazy day brought something new to doI used my magic age as if it were a wandAnd never saw the waste and emptiness beyondThe game of love I played with arrogance and prideAnd every flame I lit too quickly, quickly diedThe friends I made all seemed somehow to drift awayAnd only I am left on stage to end the play[Outro]There are so many songs in me that won't be sungI feel the bitter taste of tears upon my tongueThe time has come for me to pay for yesterdayWhen I was youngYoung, young...

I've Gotta Get A Message To You

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.802647 By Bee Gees. By Barry Gibb, Maurice Gibb, and Robin Gibb. Arranged by Peet du Toit. Dance,Disco. Score and parts. 23 pages. Peet du Toit #6197563. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.802647). I've Gotta Get a Message to You is a song by the Bee Gees. Released as a single on 7 September 1968, it was their second number-one single on the UK Singles Chart and their first US Top 10 hit.The song is about a man who, awaiting his execution in the electric chair, begs the prison chaplain to pass a final message on to his wife. Robin Gibb, who wrote the lyrics, said that the man's crime was the murder of his wife's lover, though the lyrics do not explicitly allude to the identity of the victim. Robin said, This is about a prisoner on Death Row who only has a few hours to live. He wants the prison chaplain to pass on a final message to his wife. There's a certain urgency about it. Myself and Barry wrote it. It's a bit like writing a script. Sometimes you can sit there for three hours with your guitar and nothing will happen. Then in the last ten minutes something will spark. The song was written with Percy Sledge in mind to record it. Sledge did record it in February 1970 but Atlantic did not issue his version in the United States at the time.Barry recalled, In those days, the lyrics were almost pretty well done on the spot. I don't remember the fundamentals on how the lyrics were formed, except that we were writing about a guy on death row. That was it.Robin adds:It was like acting, you see, we said, let's pretend that somebody, his life is on the line, somebody's going to the chair. What would be going through their mind? Let's not make it doom and gloom but sort of an appeal to the person he loves. Because right now that's all he cares about. Regardless of whether he's done a bad thing, he is a human being, and he's sending out this last message. There's someone out there whom he loves. It's a torch song, but within a very sort of theatrical sense. Not sort of abstract, but definitely somebody in a very bad situation whose life is going to end. What would they be saying, you know? This is it: 'Gotta get a message to you, hold on.Revive this hit on your brass instruments and enjoy!

Piano Sonata in F Minor - III. Funeral March

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1254257 By Gabriel Lagos. By Gabriel Lagos. Arranged by Gabriel Lagos. 19th Century,Classical,March,Romantic Period. Score. 5 pages. Lagos Music #847828. Published by Lagos Music (A0.1254257). The third movement is done! Plenty of crunchy diminished and augmented fifth intervals in this work to give it some darkness. I also chose to keep the register fairly low. The feeling I'm trying to capture: despair; knowing that everyone's fate is to fade into the wind and there's nothing anyone can do about it. There's nothing wrong with that; I've come to a place where I no longer fear death, but it's a reality of life that, at times, is impossible to ignore. There is a positive side, though. For one, the contrasting section is in A flat major and picks up tempo briefly! Before inevitably falling back into F minor... Also, on a funny note, the entire main theme is based off of an old song I wrote for my high school rock band (in like, 2004-ish?), using a commonly used chord progression: I, VI, iv, V7. This was when I was first learning to write music but I remember always thinking it would sound good as a funeral march. The song was called One More Life and the lyrics were about shedding the old, beginning anew, asking the universe for one more life. It feels good to finally have written this movement, though. I hope you enjoy it :)Thank you,Gabe.

Large Ensemble Choir - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.747194 Composed by Christ…

Large Ensemble Choir - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.747194 Composed by Christopher R. Brown. Christian,Gospel,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score and parts. 92 pages. Christopher Brown #4601913. Published by Christopher Brown (A0.747194). About the song: This anthem begins by compelling the listener and the performer to consider the parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl. The second verse reflects on David's superlative description of God's Word in Ps. 19. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul speaks of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ when compared to everything else in this life. The lyrics of this song are intended to echo these Truths, encourage the believer, and testify to the incomparable gift of entering into the Kingdom of God, understanding His Word, and being strengthened and set free to do the good works that He prepared in advance for us to do.Can be performed with piano accompaniment only, OR with additional band members (rhythm chart included), OR with full orchestra. Please Note:You can purchase individual copies of the choral score separately on Sheet Music Plus. Small Ensemble Medium Voice,Piano Accompaniment,Tenor Saxophone - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534375 Composed by Paul Wehage. Concert,Contemporary,Holiday,Love,Standards. Score and parts. 41 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3396161. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534375). To You for Baritone, Tenor Saxophone and piano is dedicated to the American Baritone Kurt Ollmann, who has done much for the promotion and performance of American music both in the United States and abroad.Whitman’s poem speaks of seeing a stranger and feeling love for this person. In contrast to Poe’s To Helen, which treats a similar subject of a chance meeting of a stranger that the poet loves, Whitman does not idealize his subject but rather pointedly and brutally describes how he sees this person and what feelings (both negative and positive) this contemplation provokes in the poet’s mind In order to reflect this musically, there is an alternation between more introspective and brooding sections which are then followed by more ecstatic outbursts. The piece ends with the poet watching the stranger leave, expressing what the composer felt to be acceptance and release. As in any chamber music with voice, it is important that the two instruments allow the voice to predominate, regardless of the dynamics marked in their parts. The saxophonist should try as much as possible to match colour with the voice,in order to allow the contrapuntal exchanges between the voice and the saxophone to blend evenly. The pianist should play the passages at rehearsal marks E, G and K in a more soloist manner, always taking care not to cover the voice..To YouWhoever you are, I fear you are walking the walks of dreams,I fear these supposed realities are to melt from under your feet and hands,Even now your features, joys, speech, house, trade, manners, troubles, follies, costume, crimes, dissipate away from you,Your true soul and body appear before me.They stand forth out of affairs, out of commerce, shops, work, farms, clothes, the house, buying, selling, eating, drinking, suffering, dying.Whoever you are, now I place my hand upon you, that you be my poem,I whisper with my lips close to your ear.I have loved many women and men, but I love none better than you.O I have been dilatory and dumb,I should have made my way straight to you long ago,I should have blabb'd nothing but you, I should have chanted nothingbut you.I will leave all and come and make the hymns of you,None has understood you, but I understand you,None has done justice to you, you have not done justice to yourself,None but has found you imperfect, I only find no imperfection in you,None but would subordinate you, I only am he who will never consentto subordinate you,I only am he who places over you no master, owner, better, God,beyond what waits intrinsically in yourself.Painters have painted their swarming groups and the centre-figure of all,From the head of the centre-figure spreading a nimbus of gold-color'd light,But I paint myriads of heads, but paint no head without its nimbusof gold-color'd light,From my hand from the brain of every man and woman it streams, effulgently flowing forever.O I could sing such grandeurs and glories about you!You have not known what you are, you have slumber'd upon yourselfall your life,Your eyelids have been the same as closed most of the time,What you have done returns already in mockeries,(Your thrift, knowledge, prayers, if they do not return inmockeries, what is their return?)The mockeries are not you,Underneath them and within them I see you lurk,I pursue you where none else has pursued you,Silence, the desk, the flippant expression, the night, theaccustom'd routine, if these conceal you from others or fromyourself, they do not conceal you from me,The shaved face, the unsteady eye, the impure complexion, if thesebalk others they do not balk me,The pert apparel, the deform'd attitude, drunkenness, greed, premature death, all these I part aside. There is no endowment in man or woman that is not tallied in you,There is no virtue,.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute,Piccolo,Soprano Flute - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1242493 By Wrabel. By Andrew Jackson, Andrew Pearson, and Stephen Wrabel. Arranged by a do Ray me flute studio production Ray-Michael Kauffman. 21st Century,Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop,Singer/Songwriter. 53 pages. As do Ray meflute studio production #837642. Published by as do Ray meflute studio production (A0.1242493). The Village by Wrabel, arranged for flute choir /ensemble arranged by me, Ray-Michael Kauffman. This beautiful and poignant song is part of my Compositions that care series, meaning all profits from thios arrangemnt goes to a charity. This charity is for LGBTQ+. ( about the song meaning)Wrabel, the composer, stated the song is about the LGBTQ+ community and all the hardships they face. The song is directed and to encourage and give hope to a trans person who is being treated poorly and ostracized , and to let that perosn struggling know that there is absolutely Nothing wrong with you and there's soemthing wrong with the village.Too many of the trans/LGBTQ+ comminity are struggling , especially in todays political climate. All around the world LGBTQ+ persons are being bullied, discriminated against , attacked, thrown in jail , and even killed with liitle to no laws to protect people.in my own personal life, as a victim of a horrible hate crime where the person involved attmepted to beat me and kill me , unfortuanelty i found out very qucikly how laws even in the USA do not protect me , how many cops ignored me and/or attmepted to make the attack my fault , and how laywers did not want to help and judges either ,and beacsue of the laws i was not protected as a minority and the crime wasn't a hate crime even though the criminals admitted this as the reason of the attack.I was told that this was not a hate crime , unless the criminals made me a victim of S.A., used a car/vehicle , or a gun, or actually ended my life. I also wanted to add , this brutal attack ( recorded on video by the criminals ) which caused such serious bodily harm, had me in the hospital for surgeries, and required months of long and painful rehab and therapy. As a country, as a society, as a planet , we all need to do better, and have to have more protections for such a discriminated group of persons.I did want to add , all the issues happening around the world, and even here in the USA, such as the awful and fascist discrimitory laws in Florida and other states it's no wonder the statistics of LGBTQ+ that contemplate ending their person or even attempting the act .I ask respectfully that every one please go to law makers and demand better laws and treatments of people no matter what community there are of. All people deserve respect, proper medcial care, and to have the same rights as every other human being. We all can and must be the change you wish to see in the world. Cello,Instrumental Duet,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.526297 Composed by Kurt Farquhar. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop. 3 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #6423867. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.526297). The King Of Queens is a much-beloved sitcom that aired from 1998-2007, following the adventures of a working-class couple living in Queens, NYC. Its fun and catchy theme song is really a love song from a husband to his wife, with lyrics like All I want to do...is drive right home to you, which is probably why I got asked to arrange this song for a wedding! It's a pretty specific request, but now if your client wants this song too you'll be all set! This arrangement for violin and cello includes a repeat and short extension at the end that makes the song about 1:15 in length instead of 30 seconds, so it can function as a vampable processional song or stand on its own. Rated advanced-intermediate for some tricky syncopated rhythms, but there's nothing too crazy here; both parts remain in first position throughout. This will be learnable for students and sightreadable for professionals. Sarah “Cellobat†Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild†residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download By Queen. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
With these piano sheets, you can play “Bohemian Rhapsody” on piano!<br> <br> It’s an accurate piano arrangement of the whole piece, including all parts, full melody & instrumental solos.<br> <br> I believe this is the most accurate piano arrangement of the song you will find anywhere.<br> <br> It’s a “Bohemian Rhapsody” piano version in the song’s original key, it’s playable, and it sounds fantastic!<br> <br> <br> I also created sheet music of the same piano arrangement with the song’s full lyrics - you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155920<br> <br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” was, of course, written by the one and only Freddie Mercury.<br> <br> It was included on Queen’s 1975 album “A Night at the Opera” and became one of Queen’s biggest hits. Today, it is considered by many to be the best classic rock song of all time.<br> <br> <br> There’s a good reason why the 2018 biographical film about Freddie Mercuy (played by Rami Malek) is named after this song - arguably his greatest composition.<br> <br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” is famous for its diverse parts: from the a-capella-intro to rock ballad verses, from hard rock guitar solos to operatic sections.<br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” really is the whole package - and all parts of it can sound surprisingly great on piano, if played right!<br> <br> <br> In my experience, many arrangements of the song seem to be lacking something: They are not accurate, don’t sound powerful enough, there are important parts or even whole sections missing.<br> <br> So I took my time to create a piano arrangement of the song which I feel does justice to this wonderful piece.<br> <br> <br> I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!<br> <br> <br> <br> Here are the full lyrics to “Bohemian Rhapsody”:<br> <br> <br> “Is this the real life?<br> <br> Is this just fantasy?<br> <br> Caught in a landslide<br> <br> No escape from reality<br> <br> Open your eyes<br> <br> Look up to the skies and see<br> <br> I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy<br> <br> Because I'm easy come, easy go<br> <br> A little high, little low<br> <br> Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me<br> <br> Mama, just killed a man<br> <br> Put a gun against his head<br> <br> Pulled my trigger, now he's dead<br> <br> Mama, life had just begun<br> <br> But now I've gone and thrown it all away<br> <br> Mama, oh oh<br> <br> Didn't mean to make you cry<br> <br> If I'm not back again this time tomorrow<br> <br> Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters<br> <br> Too late, my time has come<br> <br> Sends shivers down my spine<br> <br> Body's aching all the time<br> <br> Goodbye everybody I've got to go<br> <br> Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth<br> <br> Mama, oh oh (anyway the wind blows)<br> <br> I don't want to die<br> <br> Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all<br> <br> I see a little silhouetto of a man<br> <br> Scaramouch, Scaramouch will you do the Fandango<br> <br> Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me<br> <br> Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, figaro, magnifico<br> <br> I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me<br> <br> He's just a poor boy from a poor family<br> <br> Spare him his life from this monstrosity<br> <br> Easy come easy go will you let me go<br> <br> Bismillah, no we will not let you go, let him go<br> <br> Bismillah, we will not let you go, let him go<br> <br> Bismillah, we will not let you go, let me go<br> <br> (Will not let you go) let me go (never, never let you go) let me go (never let me go)<br> <br> Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no<br> <br> Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go<br> <br> Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me for me for me<br> <br> So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye<br> <br> So you think you can love me and leave me to die<br> <br> Oh baby can't do this to me baby<br> <br> Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here<br> <br> Oh oh oh yeah, oh oh yeah<br> <br> Nothing really matters<br> <br> Anyone can see<br> <br> Nothing really matters<br> <br> Nothing really matters to me<br> <br> Anyway the wind blows”
