These two short songs are an excellent introduction to cross-cultural choral singing. Both incorporate brief Spanish phrases with an English text. Numero uno is a sensitive piece about music; dos is a lively, "salsa" style number: "Everybody sing, sing, sing!" Their contrasting qualities make them a nice program set but they can also be sung individually. Well written vocal lines and counterlines make them easy and enjoyable to sing.
