A Grandioso opening featuring bold, contemporary harmonies leads directly into the exciting syncopated main theme. A driving rhythmic ostinato serves as a backdrop for additional fanfare statements. This work sounds much more difficult than it is, and will serve as an excellent concert or contest selection.
