For Echo is the Soul of the Voice is based on poems by Christopher Smart. The first song is appropriately titled "Echo"; the remaining two are "Colours" and "The Conclusion of the Matter." The lyrics are spiritual, and, overall, the music has a thin texture and requires extreme precision from both the singer and instrumentalist.
