Beethovenâ s Sonata In B Flat wascomposed ca. 1790 and is one of the very few pieces that he wrote for the Flute. The Rondo In E Minor was written in 1810 by Mozartâ s youngest son Franz Xaver Wolfgang who often struggled to gain recognition on his ownmerits during his lifetime. Two Miniatures has been arranged by Louis Moyse (1912-2007) a noted French flautist pianist composer music editor and pedagogue. Raised in Paris he was educatedby his father Marcel also a famous flautist but spent most of his working life in North America.
