The ten songs of Gaudete were written for the Swedish Radio Youth Choir. Their origins are from Sweden's oldest songbook for schools (Piae Cantiones, 1582). Included are three optional instruments and narrative readings (when performing as a whole suite). Excellent for young choirs, church and community choirs. Moderately easy.
