Composed in 2008 Trio for the Clarinet Cello and Piano was written by the British composer Ed Hughes in memory of the distinguished musicologist and Berio expert David Osmond-Smith.Inspired by Osmond-Smith's passion for music this short work tries to capture the harmonic and polyphonic subtlety of Brahms' Intermezzos.
