Johannes Brahms is known for his serious, complex, large works, however some of his most cherished music are the small scale ones that became popular immediately. The Hungarian Dance No. 6 is lively, seductive and full of mischief. The contrasting tempos and stop-start rhythms are the most notable parts of the work.
