The Beautiful Names was commissioned by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.First performances on 19th June 2007 at Westminster Cathedral London and on 22nd June 2007 in Aya Sofya Istanbul by John-Mark Ainsley(tenor) the BBC Symphony Orchestra the BBC Symphony Chorus and the Choristers of Westminster Cathedral conducted by Jir Belohlávek.
