The Traditional Christmas Carol Joy to the World has been cleverly arranged in a jazz style for 6-part Tuba Ensemble (3 Euphoniums and 3 Tubas) by Los Angeles studio Trombonist Randy Aldcroft. The arrangement was commissioned by Jim Self for his recent Christmas album, Tis The Season Tuba Jolly on Basset Hound Records.
The music includes a lush jazz-chorded introduction followed by a jazz waltz. This 4-minute arrangement is perfect for moderately advanced performers.
Bass and Treble parts are included for the Euphonium parts.
