The Londonderry Air is one of Ireland's most attractive traditional tunes. It's lovely haunting melody evokes the peace and tranquility of the beautiful Irish countryside. The addition of a third violin part makes the arrangement particularly suitable for less experienced string groups who may not have a viola player.
