This traditional Mexican song was written by Elpidio Ramirez in the 1940's and made famous by a number of interpretations by several artists. One such singer was the Mexican Miguel Aceves Mejia, famous for his acuti (high notes) and also known as the king of falsetto. This arrangement by Giancarlo Gazzani was inspired by great trumpet-player Harry James' instrumental version and re-proposes the imposing intensity of his full orchestral sound.
