Such fun! Eugenie Rocherolle said the tunes just followed one after another, fitting together in a seamless solo. In order of appearance: Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Brahms, Puccini, Debussy, and Gershwin - a favorite theme of each. It is absolutely delightful. It is clever and in good taste. The work was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the National Federation of Music Clubs. What a way to celebrate!
