Six short pieces written in a pleasantly fresh style with lots of charm but with some unexpected harmonic twists. Descriptive titles given to each piece provide the composer with ready-made moods for his music which he characterises to entertaining effect. The music has been written in an idiom which is both accessible yet stretching for the player-piano accompaniment enhances the musical content whilst remaining fairly easy to play.
