Score and Parts-Parade is a work for a Marching Band Percussion ensemble: 2 Snare Drums 2 Bass Drums Cymbals and marching machine. It was written in 1956 by the American composer conductor and pianist Morton Gould(1913-1996). Gould was a child prodigy whose compositional and improvisational skills were recognised early. He studied at the Julliard School in New York with Abby Whiteside and Vincent Jones and later became along-time member of ASCAP for whom he was president for eight years.
