This piece is inspired by a personal interpretation of the relationship with our divine origin. This work is characterized by the use of modal scales, secundal harmony, hemiolas, and 5/8 and 7/8 time signatures. This piece was awarded a first prize by a competition organized by The University of York, England and the York Minster. It was premiered by the York Minster's male choir.
