Octaves and Sweet Sounds was commissioned in the winter of 1989 by Art Song Minnesota a festival sponsored by the University of Minessota. The work was written for mezzo-soprano Glenda and pianist Ruth Palmer who gave the premiere at the McKnight Theatre in The Ordway in St. Paul on 9 June 1990.Composed by Richard Hundley this fabulous collection of songs is available here for Medium Voice with Piano accompaniment.
