Guarneri del Gesu "Lord Wilton" 1742 Violin 4/4, handcrafted in the pattern of the Guarneri Del Gesu "Lord Wilton ex Yehudi Menuhin" by Ryszard Osowski in Franconia / Bavaria / Germany, hand-varnished by his son Dawid Osowsky in Nowy Targ / Poland, slightly changed arching of top and back, scroll carved in the pattern of the original Lord Wilton, rib cage built on an inside mould following the Cremonese tradition, home-brewn Italian oil-varnish based on baltic amber, firy close to the original orange golden hand varnish, selected and long-seasoned tone-woods from Bavaria, Austria, Switzerland and Bosnia, selected narrowly grained spruce top, body made of beautifully flamed maple, one piece back, precisely fitted Milo Stamm bridge and home-made spalted soundpost, mighty and assertive sound with strong projection, broad spectrum of sound-colours featuring characteristic basses and mids combined with plenty of harmonizing over-tones, comes with Thomastik Infeld Dynamo G & D and Thomastik Infeld Rondo Gold A & E, precious pernambuco outfit (chinrest, tailpiece and pegs), light ebony fingerboard, comfortable playability, comes with certificate of authenticity, body length 353mm, neck stop 130mm, belly stop 195mm, upper bout width 168mm, center bout width 112mm, lower bout width 207mm.
