This brand new beater is a variation on Dragonfly's existing beater line with some key updates. 15 layers of black suede are tightly stacked on a light-weight aluminum tube and cap. The lighter weight allows for whisper-soft dynamics when accompanying a piano trio, or jazz singer, all the way up to a huge punch for kicking a big band or heavily amplified acoustic ensemble.
