A message of hope for all our trials is given in this anthem. The first verse tells us that our Lord will wipe away all tears, the second verse lets us know that our tears will be wiped away and the last verse personalizes the reality by using the phrase "for He shall wipe away my tears." 3-part men's and 3-part women's sections begin this piece which uses full choir most of the time.
