Ulm Cathedral possesses the world's tallest church spire. The Lighthouses was commissioned for the 12th Sendlinder Orgelnacht in the Himmelfahrtskirche in Munich-Sendling, Germany. It takes its inspiration from the role of lighthouses as an aid to navigation and as a symbol of comfort, security, and stability admist turbulent circumstances.
