In the summer of 2011, Maria Finkelmeier and Jacob Remington (Evolution Percussion Duo) initiated a Kickstarter campaign to commission several new works. Jake contributed one of his own compositions to the concert, "Tango Passacaglia," which was the perfect closing piece.
