This chart was recorded by the Count Basie Orchestra on the CD "I Told You So" (out-of-print). It is a feature for your drummer. It also has solo space for tenor saxophone and piano (a la Basie). This rip-roaring chart, full of wonderful linear writing, has "smoking" shout choruses, one after the other, which bring this exciting chart to a close. This is a great "closer" for any jazz program. The drum solo can be extended to any length on cue. You've got to have this chart in your library! 5-4-4-3 (optional 5th trumpet) (on Demo CD 110).
