A setting of an Icelandic folksong EG BYRJA REISU MIN and a seventeenth century text (translated by Gracia Grindal) given to Judas, the betrayer. The hauntingly beautiful melody is set for choir and congregation, with soprano saxophone and organ adding to the austere character of the piece. An unusual and moving addition to the possibilities for Passion Sunday or Holy Week.
