These flexible pieces can stand alone as prelude/postlude material or can be used as accompaniments for congregational hymns. A spirited setting of the tune CRUCIFER is followed by a sonorous setting of the tune GERMANY (FULDA/GARDINER). Closing out the set is the stately tune JERUSALEM for Brass Sextet (which adds glockenspiel and crash cymbal.) Accessible writing does not diminish the excitement.
