Popularized by Alan Stivell and recently again by Nolwenn Leroy, Tri Martolod is here set in an original SATB arrangement.
This traditional song from Brittany (France) begins with simple stanzae which leads to fugatos. The end comes to a festive and joyful character, in particular when all the voices join together in final unisson.
Amoung numerous existing stanzae, seven were selected while keeping a coherent story. An adaptation in French is proposed for the performance.
