Two songs originally found in the collection Reliquary of English Song have been edited and arranged to make a wonderful short set for young singers. The first You Gentlemen of England is a tune dating to the time ofElizabeth I (1533-1603) and is vigorous and lively. The second is The British Grenadiers a traditional marching song which will allow your young singers a chance to engage themselves physically and sing with the naturalenergy all directors are trying to harness.
