Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 1 in D major KV412/514 was written in 1791. The work is in two movements: I. Allegro II. Rondo. Although numbered first this wasactually the last of the composer’s four horn concerti to be completed. Compared to the other three concertos it is shorter in duration (two movements rather than three) and is much simpler in regard to both range andtechnique. This publication has been edited by John Alley and Timothy Jones for Grade 7-8 Horn in F.
