- Bernd Hiller & Sohn Giovanni Paolo Maggini Viola 16'' / 40,5cm, made in the pattern of Giovanni Paolo Maggini, completely handcrafted in Germany by master luthier Mr. Bernd Hiller from Markneukirchen, all components of the instrument are precisely synchronized and harmonized, long seasoned tone-wood, beautiful narrowly grained solid spruce top, beautifully flamed parted maple back, beautifully flamed maple sides and maple neck, Maggini style double inlaid purfling on top and back, reddish-brown primer, amber-coloured laquer made of precious natural resin and oil, fingerboard, upper nut and lower nut made of ebony, Berdani French style ebony pegs, Berdani French style ebony tailpiece 127mm with 4 integrated fine-adjusters, Berdani Guarneri ebony chinrest with anti-allergic titan screws, Berdani ebony endpin, Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Gold strings, Despiau bridge, dark and powerful low frequencies, rich and full of overtones high registers, fast and easy response, slim neck, perfectly fits players with smaller hands, a slim viola model featuring a very comfortable 360mm scale length, body length 405mm, comes with Bernd Hiller certificate.
