PickupBefore Gibson developed the legendary PAF humbucker, the P90 Soap Bar single coil was built into most Gibsons as a standard pickup. In the 70s and 80s this classic was overlooked, but in recent years the Soapbar has experienced a renaissance in many guitars. An especially popular combination: mahogany guitar with P90. Nowadays hardly any manufacturers have such a model as part of their product range.
