We have equipped Eris XT Studio Monitors with a new Elliptical Boundary Modeler (EBM) designed by Hugh Sarvis of WorxAudio, which is nothing less than the brain behind our award-winning CDL speakers and our much appreciated R series monitors. The result Better high frequency response and extended horizontal dispersion at 100 degrees to create a wider ideal listening area. It's perfect for group listening and collaboration, while narrow vertical dispersion reduces reflections from your work plan. Silk dome tweeters provide vivid and accurate transient reproduction. Basses that go lower. The classic woven composite bass speaker always delivers the crisp, clear bass that is the Eris signature; a lot of punch and no approximations. The Eris E5 XT studio monitors feature a larger vented speaker than their predecessors, allowing them to go down to an astonishing 48 Hz frequency. This is 10 Hz lower than previous models , and without using a subwoofer!
