Maggini before 1632 Violin 4/4, handmade in Germany by master luthier Florian Hertzsch, built on the model of Giovanni Paolo Maggini, whose violins often show paired inlaid purflings, broad scrolls and long f-holes, due to the bigger body featuring a back-length of 359mm and a highly arched top the sound is dark, full and strong, ,spruce top (Picea abies), back, sides and neck made of flamed maple (Acer pseudoplatanus), ebony fingerboard (Diospyros crassiflora), rosewood fittings (Dalbergia latifolia), paired inlaid purfling, homemade antiqued amber-based oil-varnish based on the model of Italian masters, a thin layer of laquer enables the tone-woods to swing freely, traces of wear in the pattern of ancient Italian violins, maximum optimization of sound by final adjustment of soundpost and bridge, length of the back: 359mm, comes with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings, cerificate included, comes with Gewa Bio Oblong Violin Case (grey/black).
