The SIT strings are given an above-average tuning stability by a special chemical substance into which the ball ends are dipped. Among the best-known SIT users are Richard Z. Kruspe, Paul Landers (both Rammstein), My Chemical Romance, POD, Mia, Beatsteaks, God Forbid, Jack Bruce, Donots, In Extremo, Madsen, Atrocity and Overkill call.
