Jean de Hollande (1538-1553) was a South Netherlandish
composer. He was assistant kapelmeester at St Salvator,
Bruges, from 1538. In 1544 he was dismissed for bad
conduct. It has been suggested that Jean de Hollande
and Christian Hollander (whose name is not found before
1549) are the same person.
