"Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" is the most common English title of one of Johann Sebastian Bach's enduring works. It is the 10th and last movement of a cantata written for voices with trumpet, oboes, strings, and continuo. It was composed during the composer's first year of employment in Leipzig, Germany.
