Added by tsongur, 29 Nov 2013 This sonate is not a rhapsody thus themes are not derived from Turkish Folk Tunes. 1st movement describes a dance. 2nd movement describes praying to God. 3rd movement is heavy adagio (zeybek Dance) West Anatolia Zeybek Folk Dance. Enjoy. The Harmonic construction of these piece can be heard little weird because of its quartal construction. Instead of traditional western Harmony, the quartal Turkish Music Harmonic system was used in this composition which is invented by Famous Turkish Composer ''Kemal İlerici'' (Turkish Music and Quartal harmony) The original title of this Book ''Türk Müziği Armonisi'' |
