Associate : SIAE Alessandro Amato was born in Italy. Starts his experience in the music field at a very young age, showing very soon special bents and artistic sensibilities. Graduated in piano at the Conservatory of Music ?N.Piccinni? in Bari (Italy) with Vito Reibaldi. Present in Italian music-cultural seasons and events, he performs repertoires which range from the classical to the 20th century and contemporary genre in several recitals. On the occasion of vocal concerts he performs as piano accompanist of singers showing a special predilection for the repertoire pertaining to a lied. Nevertheless, his interest in the vocal art leads him to attend some seminars on vocality, among which we remember those held by S. Woodbury and the Applied Phoniatrics Seminar ?Education and treatment of the artistic voice? held by the Professor Franco Fussi at the Conservatory of Music ?A. Casella? in L?Aquila. He has been awarded in several national and international competitions both as soloist and as member of a duo or a trio. Likewise he has performed as director and artistic coordinator of some young orchestras in 2004.
He?s graduated in Composition at the Conservatory "Piccinni" with Genoese composer A. Marena.
He is author of chamber, symphonic and lyrical music. In 2004 he works as assistant and aide teacher of the composer Remo Vinciguerra during the course ?I want to be a composer when I?m grown-up?, whose conclusion has been sealed by the issue of the book ?I pentagrammi della Sarro: easy pieces for the piano study in modern style? (Florestano Editor). Composes orchestral music for several theaters in Rome like a recent work with fabulous theme entitled ?The Grinch?. In March 2007, as part of the theatrical project organized by the Teatro Abeliano of Bari, he composes the music scene (for orchestra) for the opera ?A Midsummer Night?s dream? by W. Shakespeare (director V. Signorile) which becomes a hit with the public and with the critics. He has also shared the publication of a book entitled ?Ildebrando Pizzetti e la Lirica vocale da camera? (Papageno Editor, 2007), by editing the compositive analysis of the operas of Pizzetti himself for song and piano. In October 2007 he publishes two compositions for piano entitled ?Implorazione? e ?Visioni? (Edizioni Esarmonia, 2007). Recent publication is a zoological suite for piano entitled "Five animal portraits" (Florestano Editions, 2008).
