Georges Schmitt (1821 - 1900)

Georges Schmitt, born Johann Georg Gerhard Schmitt in Trier in Germany, on March 11, 1821 and died in Paris on December 7, 1900, is a composer, organist of the Trier cathedral, and organist of Saint-Sulpice and Saint-Germain-des- Meadows (both in Paris).
