Américo Jacomino ( São Paulo 12 February 1889 - 7 September 1928 ) was a guitarist Brazilian , known for Canhoto because he played the strings with the left hand, without reversing the tuning of the instrument. Canhoto was responsible for "finishing" of this instrument in Brazil . The guitar was, until his time, considered as an instrument of lesser importance, and one even said that only marginal in playing.
