Carl Julius Malmqvist ( June 16, 1819 - août4, 1859 ) was a Danish military musician, composer and choir director.
After attending a French choir training, Carl Malmquist is engaged as a military musician at the age of 15. Through autonomous piano, guitar and solo studies, he launched into a career as a composer and choir director. He wrote a certain number of songs by male choirs and a certain number of unanimous songs, but also his own music and music arrangements by other people for various theatrical performances.
