Fritz Kauffmann (1855 - 1934)
Kauffmann, who was a student of Friedrich Kiel , gained a reputation in part as chief conductor of the Magdebourg Symphony and Oratorio , where he was called in 1889, and in part thanks to good taste compositions and own, among others. a) a symphony, a "dramatic" opening as well as concerts (especially a concerto for cello of great value), chamber music, songs, mixed choir and third voices.
