Born on May 19th 1975 in Sangmelima, he is from the south Cameroon where he was initiated in music à 6 by his late father Pierre FOUMANE in drums and xylophone playing, and his mother Esther FOUMANE in singing.
After severals years in his parents traditional choir, he was asked to play organ before entering the youth choir when he expressed the will to join it in 1991. he then did it in self trainning.
However, he did never attend any music school, he rather consulted many books to become an organist in Yaounde and Douala, then choir leader, singer (Barytone) and now a composer. He became the first diocesan music director of the Douala Archdiocese in 2001 for 4 years, and composes songs of various music styles (classical, traditional,liturgical,Gospel...).
he created a classical choir : The Brotherhood Choir of Douala (BROCHOD).
