The three letters S.M.G. are the initials of the
previous owner on the cover of the manuscript in the
Hamburg State and University Library, which is the only
surviving source for this Allemande. Together with the
year 1691 the manuscript was created, they are used to
identify this work of Vincent Lübeck. |
