The Austrian clarinetist Peter Forcher is conductor of the ‘Pannonisches Blasorchester’ and docent at the Musical Institute Oberschützen, part of the Art University Graz. In order to support basset horn play he arranged pieces of famous and beautiful music for this instrument. The Austrian composer and musical theorist Johann Georg Albrechtsberger (1736 – 1809) composed the ‘Partita in C per violino, arpa e basso’.
