The Austrian clarinetist Peter Forcher is conductor of
the ‘Pannonisches Blasorchester’ and docent at the
Musical Institute Oberschützen, part of the Art
University Graz. In order to support basset horn play
he arranged pieces of famous and beautiful music for
this instrument. Franz Schubert in 1823 composed the
song for voice and piano ‘Auf dem Wasser zu singen’
