the following Biblical
passage:
“Hosanna to
the Son of
David.
Blessed is he
who comes in the name of
the Lord.

exultant, rhythmic
passages for instruments
and voices to begin and
conclude, with a passage
of more lyrical and
sustained character
embedded within. The text
would suggest
compatibility for
inclusion in an Easter
service as well as for
Palm Sunday.
