Renaissance d'un classiqueLes années 70 était un temps béni, les pantalons pattes d'eph, chaines et coupes afros dominaient la mode et le phaser était partout à la radio. De guitaristes comme David Gilmour, Brian May et Eddie Van Halen ou de clavier comme Steely Dan, Herbie Hancock, Richard Tee (Paul Simon), tout le monde incorporait le phaser dans leur son. De toutes les pédales disponibles en ce temps, une pédale phaser se démarquait des autres par sa polyvalence, sa qualité et l'addition d'un circuit de fuzz, et elle a été immédiatement adoptée par le pionnier de la basse funk Larry Graham comme élément principal de son son avec Sly and The Family Stone et son propre groupe Graham Central Station. La Warm Audio Jet Phaser est une recréation authentique de cette pédale, fidèle jusqu'au look du boitier, excepté qu'elle est True Bypass et bien plus abordable et fiable que la version vintage !  The Jet Set La Jet Phaser possède six modes, avec deux nommés PHASE et quatre nommés JET. Les deux modes PHASE produisent l'effet de phaser traditionnel, le premier ayant une profondeur plus modérée pour des sons plus subtils, et le second pour des résultats plus exagérés. Les similitudes avec une pédale de phaser normale s'arrêtent là. Les quatre modes JET activent l'effet Jet (ou Fuzz), et c'est ici que les choses sérieuses commencent. Il y a quatre combinaisons fuzz/phase : - Bright fuzz / Shallow phase - Bright fuzz / Deep phase - Dark fuzz / Shallow phase - Dark fuzz / Deep phase Quand le mode JET est actif, le niveau de sortie de la pédale est contrôlé par le potentiomètre JET LEVEL. Cela permet d'utiliser le mode JET comme un boost - qui peut être parfait pour les solos ! Contrôles créatifs La Jet Phaser possède également un contrôle de la vitesse de modulation : le potentiomètre SLOW RATE permet de régler la vitesse de modulation principale, et en appuyant sur le bouton FAST/SLOW, la vitesse augmente jusqu'au maximum possible. La transition entre lent et rapide est progressive comme une cabine Leslie, il est possible en appuyant continuellement sur le bouton FAST/SLOW, comme les organistes le font, d'obtenir une vitesse entre les deux. En plus, la Jet Phaser a un contrôle RESONANCE, actif dans les six modes, permettant d'obtenir des sons de science-fiction.
