Jean-Claude Gillier (born in 1667 in Paris, died on May 30, 1737 there) - French composer of the Baroque era , active for many years in England.



Giller composed almost exclusively theatrical stage music. From 1693 he was a double bass player in the Comédie-Française orchestra . In 1699 and 1701 he worked in England. In 1705 he gave concerts in York . In 1706–1707 he composed stage music for Queen's Theater.
