Eduardo Di Capua (1865 - 1917)

Eduardo di Capua (1865 - 1917) was an Italian singer and songwriter. He was born in Naples, Italy. Together with poet Giovanni Capurro, di Capua wrote the song "O Sole Mio", text by Giovanni Capurro (the first line in Neapolitan dialect: Che bella cosa Ăš na jurnata ?e sole) since recorded by many singers, both classical and popular: Enrico Caruso, Fritz Wunderlich, PlĂĄcido Domingo, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Royal Philharmonic, Nat King Cole and George Harrison.
